AURASAGE

Delete my data

AuraSage has no account, so there is no server-side profile to close. Everything you built lives on your device, which means you can erase it yourself in a few seconds - and it means we cannot bring it back.

In short

  • There is no account to delete, because AuraSage never asked you to create one.
  • You → Privacy → Delete all my data erases everything on the device, immediately and permanently.
  • Export first if you want to keep your saved and custom affirmations.
  • Uninstalling the app also removes local data, but leaves any device-level backup untouched.

This summary is for orientation only. The numbered sections below are the operative text.

1. Export first, if you want a copy

Deletion cannot be undone and we hold no backup, so export anything you would be sorry to lose before you erase it.

  • Open AuraSage.
  • Go to You → Privacy → Export my data.
  • Choose where to save the file. It contains your saved affirmations, the affirmations you wrote, and your collections.

2. Delete everything from inside the app

This is the complete erasure. It is immediate and permanent.

  • Open AuraSage.
  • Go to You → Privacy → Delete all my data.
  • Confirm when prompted.

This removes your saved favourites, custom affirmations, collections, resonance profile, practice history, reflections, voice recordings, theme choice and notification schedule. Scheduled reminders are cancelled at the same time.

3. Or uninstall the app

Uninstalling AuraSage removes the app's private storage, and with it everything listed above.

  • Long-press the AuraSage icon → App info → Uninstall, or remove it from the Google Play Store.
  • If your device has Android Auto Backup or Google One device backup enabled, a copy of app data may still exist inside that Google backup, under Google's terms rather than ours. Clear it in Google One → Storage → Device backups, or exclude AuraSage from backup before uninstalling.

4. What we hold, and how to have it removed

We do not hold a copy of your affirmations, reflections, recordings, resonance profile or preferences. There is nothing on our side to delete, because none of it was ever uploaded.

We do process anonymous product analytics and crash reports. These carry no identifier that we can tie to a person, which is precisely why they are safe to collect - and also why we usually cannot isolate yours on request.

If you would still like the anonymous records from a particular installation purged, contact us through the developer contact details published on the AuraSage listing on Google Play with your device model, your app version, and the approximate dates involved. We will remove what we can identify and confirm when it is done.

You can also stop future collection entirely: turn analytics off in Settings. The app remains fully functional with analytics disabled.

5. Deleting data does not cancel a subscription

If you have an active subscription, deleting your data and uninstalling the app will not stop the billing. Subscriptions are held by Google Play and must be cancelled there.

  • Open the Google Play Store → your profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  • Select AuraSage, then Cancel subscription, at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Refunds are issued by Google Play under Google's refund policy.

6. Timing

  • In-app deletion and uninstall: immediate.
  • A request to purge identifiable anonymous records: acknowledged within 7 days and actioned within 30 days.
  • Anonymous analytics we are not asked about are retained in aggregate for up to 14 months and are then deleted or permanently aggregated.
  • Website server logs are retained for a short operational period, typically no longer than 30 days.
